Superbowl in Germany.
I watched the superbowl by myself at 12:30am Monday here on a European internet stream. This steam had a chat room and i was very surprised at the amount of Germans/Russians/ other European countries were watching this seemingly unpopular sport in Europe.
The Superbowl was live aired on german free-TVchannel Sat.1 with 1.33 million viewers at peak
ReplyDeleteit's not like 31 million watching the "soccer" Worlcup but still pretty good for an unpopular sport aired at midnight :)
So many americans in Germany though, I know some on various military bases around the country, so that must contribute to a good chunk of that number.
DeleteAnd I think most Football-Fans will prefer the Broadcasts on the PayTV channels or choose to pay for the NFL Gamepass.
ReplyDeletewatched it with friends. Was less about the sport itself but more a little come together with lots of food.
ReplyDeleteIts pretty much the same in America because most of American's "Team" didnt make it to the bowl.
